A PROCESS IN THE MAKING
OUR MISSION
We are pleased to present our proposal for the founding of the Law For Artificial Intelligence Student Association.
The roots of our interest lie in our enthusiasm for the challenges and opportunities arising from the intersection of law and the practical application of artificial intelligence systems. We believe that this union represents one of the crucial nodes of the future, with profound ethical, social and legal implications. The Council of the European Union on May 21, 2024 approved the Artificial Intelligent Act, which lays the regulatory foundations, based on the possible risks and level of impact, that AI systems must adhere to, but also stipulates strict respect for the fundamental rights of EU citizens and the construction of “best practices” of experimentation of national regulations to support innovation. In the coming months, therefore, we will witness the proliferation of regulatory acts by the governments of various European countries that will aim to go hand in hand with the rapid spread of the use of AI systems in multiple areas of our lives, and all of this will require future legal professionals and students who are informed and properly prepared.
